I started charging $5 a cut out of a garage in Portland, Oregon. Sometimes I'd cut for free just to get the reps in. Portland isn't exactly the barbering capital of the world — but that didn't stop me.

I came from a rough place. I was selling drugs, using drugs, and had no real support system around me. My family doubted me heavily. I was supposed to go into engineering, then physics — then barbering came along and changed everything.

I'm a college dropout. I walked away from a path everyone expected me to follow because I believed in what I was building. No blueprint, no mentor, no safety net. Just clippers and a decision.

I taught myself content. I figured out how to turn haircuts into a brand, a following, and a business — all from a city that nobody would have predicted a barbering success story from. Now I have 277K+ on Instagram and 107K+ on YouTube and I'm just getting started.
