Universal Terms of Service & Refund Policy
The School of Barbering LLC | Effective date: September 18, 2026
These Universal Terms of Service & Refund Policy ("Terms") govern your access to and use of any membership, mentorship, coaching program, course, community, challenge, educational product, resource, or other service offered by The School of Barbering LLC ("School of Barbering," "SOB," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using any Service, you agree to these Terms.
If a specific offer, checkout page, order form, enrollment agreement, or other written offer presented to you at purchase contains offer-specific terms about price, duration, payment schedule, included services, bonuses, or other commercial terms, those offer-specific terms govern those details and are incorporated into these Terms. If there is a direct conflict, the offer-specific term controls only for that specific purchase.
1. Definitions and Scope
"Services" means any membership, mentorship, coaching, course, challenge, community, educational program, digital product, resource, event, support service, or other offering provided by School of Barbering.
"Member" or "Customer" means the person or entity purchasing, enrolling in, accessing, or using a Service.
These Terms are intended to apply across School of Barbering's current and future Services. Not every provision applies to every Service; provisions apply when relevant to the Service purchased.
2. Purchase, Enrollment, and Agreement Acceptance
You represent that the information you provide during purchase or enrollment is accurate and that you have authority to enter into the purchase agreement. By completing a purchase or enrollment, you confirm that you have reviewed these Terms and the applicable offer details and agree to be bound by them.
Electronic acceptance, checkout confirmation, order records, invoices, enrollment records, and other reasonable records may be used to establish the Service purchased and the terms accepted at the time of purchase.
3. Services and Offer-Specific Terms
The exact Service you receive is determined by the applicable offer presented at purchase. Depending on the Service, this may include self-paced education, community access, challenges, resources, coaching, calls, feedback, mentorship, events, templates, recordings, or other support.
The Service does not include anything not expressly stated as included in the applicable offer. Marketing content, examples, demonstrations, testimonials, and statements describing what may be possible are informational and illustrative unless expressly identified as a contractual inclusion.
4. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal
If you purchase a recurring subscription, the subscription renews automatically at the interval and price disclosed at checkout using the payment method on file until you cancel. For the $99 monthly School of Barbering membership, the membership is month to month unless a different offer is clearly shown at checkout.
Subscription cancellation must be completed through the applicable billing or subscription-management method before the next billing date to avoid the next renewal. Leaving a community, deleting an app, becoming inactive, missing activities, or sending an unrelated message does not necessarily cancel a subscription.
If you purchase a fixed-term, prepaid, or payment-plan Service, cancellation of access does not automatically cancel payment obligations. The applicable offer and payment terms determine the payment schedule and program term, subject to applicable law.
5. Payments and Payment Plans
You agree to pay the price and any applicable taxes or fees disclosed at checkout. If an offer uses installments or a payment plan, each installment is part of the agreed purchase price and remains due according to the disclosed schedule, subject to applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for failed, reversed, or overdue payments. A dispute with one charge does not automatically cancel future or remaining payment obligations unless required by law or agreed by School of Barbering in writing.
6. Refunds and Cancellation
Unless applicable law requires otherwise or the applicable offer expressly provides a different refund right, payments are final and nonrefundable.
For recurring memberships, not using the Service, being too busy, missing calls or activities, changing your mind, failing to cancel before renewal, or not achieving a desired result does not by itself qualify for a refund.
For fixed-term, prepaid, mentorship, coaching, or payment-plan Services, voluntarily stopping participation, missing coaching sessions, failing to complete assignments, failing to implement recommendations, dissatisfaction with results, or deciding the Service is not a fit does not by itself create a refund right, unless the applicable offer expressly provides one or applicable law requires it.
We will review a refund or billing correction when there is evidence of a duplicate charge, incorrect charge, a charge processed after a properly completed cancellation, or a material access failure caused by us that we could not reasonably correct.
The owner or School of Barbering may approve a full or partial refund, credit, extension, or other goodwill solution in an unusual situation. Any exception is voluntary, may be conditioned on account closure or other reasonable conditions, and does not create a right to the same exception for the same or another customer.
To request a refund or billing review, use the official School of Barbering support method identified for your Service. Include the account email, charge date, amount, reason, and relevant supporting information. Do not send full payment-card numbers.
7. No Guaranteed Results
School of Barbering does not guarantee clients, bookings, income, revenue, profit, followers, views, engagement, haircut improvement, licensure, employment, business growth, social-media growth, return on investment, or any other specific result or timeframe.
Results depend on factors outside our control, including participation, effort, consistency, skill, implementation, local demand, pricing, service quality, competition, market conditions, platform changes, and business decisions.
Testimonials, student examples, challenge goals, case studies, and statements about what is possible are examples only and are not promises of what you will achieve.
8. Educational and Coaching Disclaimer
Services provide general educational information and, where applicable, coaching, feedback, strategy, or mentorship based on the experience and opinions of School of Barbering and its contributors.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Services are educational and advisory in nature and are not legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, medical, insurance, employment, or other licensed professional advice.
School of Barbering does not provide done-for-you business, marketing, sales, advertising, bookkeeping, legal, tax, or other professional services unless a specific written offer expressly states otherwise.
You are responsible for evaluating information before acting on it, obtaining professional advice when necessary, and following the barbering, cosmetology, sanitation, business, tax, employment, advertising, licensing, and other laws and rules applicable to you.
9. Member Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own participation and implementation. Depending on the Service, this may include logging in, attending scheduled calls, completing lessons or assignments, asking for help, responding to outreach, providing accurate information, following reasonable program instructions, and implementing recommendations.
Availability of coaching, support, calls, or feedback does not guarantee that you will attend, use, or receive a particular outcome from those opportunities. Repeated no-shows, failure to communicate, abusive conduct, or misuse of program resources may result in reduced scheduling access, suspension, or termination where reasonable.
10. Program Changes and Coach Changes
We may update, modify, reorganize, add, remove, replace, or discontinue portions of a Service, including curriculum, lessons, challenges, coaches, resources, community organization, support processes, schedules, platforms, and delivery methods.
We will not use routine updates to misrepresent the central nature of a paid Service. If a change materially removes a paid core benefit, we may provide a reasonable replacement, correction, extension, or other remedy based on the circumstances and applicable law.
A particular coach, instructor, editor, team member, or other individual is not guaranteed unless the applicable offer expressly states that the individual is a contractual inclusion.
11. Bonuses and Additional Resources
Bonuses, resources, networks, events, classes, templates, recordings, or other extras are included only when identified in the applicable offer. Availability, timing, format, and delivery may change when reasonably necessary, and a bonus is not a guaranteed result.
12. Intellectual Property and No Sharing
All courses, videos, lessons, challenges, frameworks, graphics, downloads, recordings, templates, written material, branding, documents, systems, and other content supplied by School of Barbering are owned by us or used with permission.
Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the applicable materials for your own education while your access is authorized.
You may not copy, screen-record, download without permission, reproduce, republish, sell, resell, distribute, share logins, upload material to another group or course, remove branding, create a competing product from our material, use our content to train an artificial-intelligence system, or present our material as your own.
We may suspend or terminate access, preserve evidence, send takedown notices, and pursue available legal remedies for unauthorized use or distribution. To the extent allowed by law, the responsible person may be liable for resulting losses, enforcement costs, and other available relief. Nothing here prevents lawful fair use or another right that cannot legally be restricted.
13. Coaching Calls, Recordings, and Communications
Where a Service includes coaching or calls, scheduling, frequency, duration, and format are governed by the applicable offer and current scheduling process. Missed calls do not automatically create a refund, credit, or program extension.
If calls or sessions are recorded, School of Barbering may use the recordings for service delivery, quality control, internal training, documentation, security, or other purposes permitted by applicable law and the applicable privacy notice. Where a separate consent is legally required, we will obtain it.
14. Confidentiality
You may receive nonpublic information about School of Barbering, its coaches, systems, materials, business practices, or other members. You agree not to disclose or misuse confidential or nonpublic information except as permitted by law or with written permission.
School of Barbering will handle personal information according to its Privacy Policy and applicable law. Confidentiality does not prevent disclosures required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, security, or the operation of the business.
15. Member Content, Testimonials, and Client Permissions
You retain ownership of original content you post or submit. You grant School of Barbering permission to host, display, format, store, and moderate that content as reasonably necessary to operate the Service.
When you intentionally submit a testimonial, review, win, result, progress update, transformation, success story, or similar statement for School of Barbering's use, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit for length or clarity, publish, display, and share that submission for educational, promotional, advertising, and testimonial purposes, including the name, profile image, social-media handle, voice, photo, video, haircut or content example, business result, and other information you include with the submission, subject to applicable law.
We will not knowingly change the meaning of your statement or present your experience as a guaranteed or typical result when it is not. We may request a separate release for a larger production, paid advertisement, extended interview, or another use that reasonably requires additional permission.
You are responsible for having permission to upload a client's image, video, voice, name, personal information, haircut, or other protected material.
16. Community Conduct and Account Access
You may not harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate, dox, spam, defraud, disrupt the community, share another person's private information, solicit members without permission, infringe rights, or use a Service for unlawful activity.
We may remove content or suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, account sharing, infringement, safety risks, serious misconduct, or material violations of these Terms.
17. Third-Party Platforms and Services
Services may be delivered through third-party platforms, payment processors, scheduling tools, communication services, or other providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for independent acts, policies, outages, changes, or failures of third-party platforms, but we will reasonably review access or billing problems connected to our Services.
18. Chargebacks and Billing Disputes
Please contact School of Barbering first if you believe a charge is incorrect so we can review the account and billing record.
We may provide payment processors, financial institutions, or other authorized parties with relevant records in connection with a billing dispute or chargeback, including accepted offer terms, billing history, access records, participation records, support communications, payment information available to us, and cancellation information.
A chargeback does not automatically cancel a subscription or other payment obligation. Where applicable, you must also use the applicable cancellation process.
19. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that a Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for your particular goals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, School of Barbering is not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, lost income, lost clients, lost opportunities, lost profits, business decisions, or actions taken based on educational or coaching content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability relating to a Service will not exceed the amount you paid to School of Barbering for that Service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.
20. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless School of Barbering, its owners, coaches, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, infringement or misuse of another person's rights, unauthorized use or distribution of School of Barbering materials, or content you submit, except to the extent caused by School of Barbering's own conduct for which indemnification cannot legally be waived.
21. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating a formal legal proceeding, the parties should first make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through School of Barbering's official support process. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency or provisional relief where legally available.
Any arbitration requirement, class-action waiver, venue provision, or other dispute-resolution restriction will apply only to the extent enforceable under applicable law. Because customers may reside in different jurisdictions, these provisions should be interpreted subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without overriding mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply where you live.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively as our Services, platforms, or applicable law change. The updated version will show a new effective date. Material changes affecting an active paid Service will be communicated when required by law.
24. Entire Agreement and Severability
These Terms, together with the applicable offer, checkout terms, order form, enrollment materials, and incorporated policies, constitute the agreement relating to the Service purchased. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
